Hellebore [Demo]
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Hellebore [Demo] is a short audiovisual/mechanic demo for a narrative-driven top-down adventure game in development. Developed for the Queer Winter Game Jam 2024-25 hosted by the LGBTQ+ SIG of the IGDA.
Premise
Hellebore follows a person named Crow who must return home, but the forest is snowy and cold. They have only their lantern to light their way.
The future game is expected to contain themes of loss, grief, friendship, and death; however, this demo is quite theme-free.
